A good portion of the money is from excess scholarships and research grants I got from school. I've been in college since I was 16, will graduate in 2 years, and then go on to get my grad degree. During all of that, I've held steady jobs, while (with the exception of gas for my Z) living cheaply. So, when you make 35k a year from a job, get 35k a year from grants and scholarships, spend 25k a year on school, room and board ect, you're actually left with quite a bit of money to save for projects. At this point in time, I actually think I get more a year than my parents, so asking them for money would be a waste of time. As far as my mentioning paying for labor, that's because I've a hectic schedule. Double Majoring in Psychology and Marketing, while leading research teams for psych in Chicago and working 40 hours a week, doesn't leave much time for anything else. So, if I have to pay someone to get what I want, so be it. Let's not jump to conclusions. I come from a new generation, not all of us are spoiled brats who can beg mommy and daddy for anything we want. I work for everything I have, granted it's not physical labor, I've just taken a more, academic route.
